Chelsea State Bank announced today that Neil T. Wagler has joined its commercial banking team as Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. Wagler brings extensive commercial banking experience, including responsibility for a loan portfolio exceeding $150 million and 10 years of service as a commercial loan officer.

Wagler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He also completed the American Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School and the Michigan Bankers Association’s Commercial Lending School.

Neil grew up in Hillsdale County and attended North Adams-Jerome High School and now lives in Jackson. Neil’s community involvement includes volunteering with Junior Achievement financial awareness and literacy programs and supporting the State of Michigan’s Adopt-A-Highway cleanup efforts.
