Chelsea State Bank is pleased to welcome Jacob (Jake) Parker to their Commercial Banking Team.

“Jake has joined Chelsea State Bank’s Commercial Banking Team as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, where he will manage and grow the bank’s portfolio, connecting with area businesses, serving their banking needs through creative solutions,” said Thomas DuMont, Senior Vice President, Chelsea State Bank.

With a background in community banking, Jake spent the last 7 years of his career at County National Bank, working as an Accounting Specialist, and most recently as an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Credit Officer.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Chelsea State Bank, and to serve on their Commercial Banking Team,” said Jake.  “My professional background affords me the opportunity to share experiences with the team and provides an opportunity to learn from well-established bankers in the industry.”

He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied management from Trine University, and an associate’s degree in Applied Science Business Administration from Jackson College.

While not at work, Jake supports the Hillsdale County Sherrif’s K-9 Unit, assisting with grant writing, fundraising and participating in their K-9 training program.  He also enjoys spending his time golfing, where he recently explored a few golf courses in northern Michigan.
