Chelsea State Bank Announces Promotions
MONDAY, APRIL 27, 2026, CHELSEA, MICHIGAN – Chelsea State Bank, a three-time recipient of the Detroit Free Press Top Workplace, announces six promotions approved by the Board of Directors during their April 2026 meeting last week.
Emily Schaible, a fourth generation at Chelsea State Bank, has served as the Bank’s Human Resources Director for 7 years. With nearly 14 years of banking experience and a proven track record of enhancing employee culture at Chelsea State Bank, Emily is well-equipped to continue driving employee engagement within the organization.
Carie Tillman, the Branch Manager at our largest banking center, has been with Chelsea State Bank for over 5 years. Her outstanding leadership, commitment to professional development, and dedication to customer service have consistently resulted in positive outcomes.
Mark Stevens, Commercial Banker began his career at Chelsea State Bank in December 2022 as a Business Relationship Manager. During his time with the bank, Mark completed and was the top performer of the rigorous credit analysis program curriculum accredited by Community Bankers of Michigan. Mark is the former President and business owner of a packaging manufacturing company and wholesale/retail company in Jackson, MI, and brings 30+ years of practical business ownership experience to the bank and its customers. He has rapidly advanced during his time with the bank, often offering a unique perspective to his peers.
Nancy Zander has been with the Bank for over two decades and has moved through the ranks. She is now serving as a key player protecting customers and the bank. She engages with the community by hosting enrichment classes at Senior Centers and Retirement Communities, and works closely with local law enforcement, all while training our employees and community members around ways to avoid being scammed.
Stuart Mann, a third generation Commercial Banker with over 10 years of experience at Chelsea State Bank, exemplifies dedication to our customers and the communities we serve, establishing himself as a trusted leader within our team.
Nicole Bell oversees Marketing, Communications, and Community Relations. She joined Chelsea State Bank in 2022 after a career in the nonprofit sector. She has actively engaged in various community initiatives; managed internal and external communications related to the 2024 technology upgrade and continues to share the Bank’s narrative through marketing efforts.
