Mark Stevens joined our team in December, 2022 as the Business Relationship Manager, where he will manage commercial loan relationships and focus on business development. Mark graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from University of Michigan and played on the U of M golf team.
Previously, Mark was owner and President of a packaging manufacturing company and a wholesale/retail company, each located in Jackson, MI. Mark started the wholesale/retail business in 1995 as a means of converting wood waste from the packaging company. Wearing all hats as a small business owner, Mark was responsible for operations of each company, leading sales efforts and managing supplier relationships. Mark led these companies for over 30 years before executing the succession plan with a third party buyer in 2021.
After selling the businesses, Mark and his wife Amy bought a camper van/class B motor home and spent a year traveling the United States and Canada, where they visited 26 States, 4 Provinces and 19 National Parks traveling over 30,000 miles.
